Terms of use
Effective October 26, 2026
These terms cover every app and website made by Shinyrock (“we”, “us”), including Bogo Bandit, Cheffi, Cue Studio, Nexus, Pocket Watch, Poofie, Reel, Slate, Tally, Yizkor and shinyrock.app (the “Apps”). By using an App, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Apps.
Who can use the Apps
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough in your country to agree to these terms. If you use an App for a business, you agree to these terms on its behalf.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at hello@shinyrock.app if you think someone else has used it.
Your content
What you put into an App stays yours. You give us permission to store, copy and display it only as needed to run the App for you, such as syncing it between your devices. You are responsible for having the right to anything you upload.
Acceptable use
- Do not break the law or anyone else’s rights using the Apps.
- Do not try to break into, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the Apps or their servers.
- Do not use the Apps to send spam or harmful content, or to collect other people’s information.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
AI features and information in the Apps
Some Apps use AI to write, summarize or suggest things. AI can be wrong, so check anything important before relying on it. Nothing in the Apps (deals, prices, recipes, budgets, schedules, health or money figures, or anything else) is professional financial, legal, medical or nutrition advice.
Services from other companies
Some features rely on other companies, such as Google sign-in or Plaid for bank connections. Their own terms apply to those services, and we are not responsible for them.
Prices
The Apps are currently free. If we ever charge for something, we will show the price clearly before you pay, and you will never be charged without agreeing first.
Changes and availability
We may change, pause or stop an App at any time. If we plan to shut one down, we will try to give notice and a way to export your data. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the Apps after a change means you accept it.
No warranty
The Apps are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that they will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure or fit for a particular purpose. Keep your own copies of anything important.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Shinyrock will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or savings, arising from your use of the Apps. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 US dollars. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Indemnity
If you misuse the Apps or break these terms and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim.
Ending
You can stop using the Apps and delete your account at any time. These terms keep applying to anything that happened before then.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Shinyrock is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
